31 people were detained in Kyrgyzstan for preparing terrorist attacks

The special services of Kyrgyzstan conducted a special operation, during which 31 members of terrorist organizations who were preparing terrorist attacks against police officers and religious figures were detained. This was announced on June 9 by the State Committee for National Security of the republic.

"The State Committee for National Security conducted a large-scale anti-terrorist special operation to neutralize active members of the international terrorist organizations Katiba al-Tawhid wal-Jihad and the Islamic State (banned in Russia. — Ed.), who planned terrorist acts against law enforcement officers and religious figures," TASS reports.

It is noted that as a result of the operation, 31 people suspected of involvement in the preparation of terrorist crimes were detained, including 11 people in Osh region and 20 people in Batken region.
