The air defense forces shot down a drone flying towards Moscow. This was announced on June 9 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The Defense Ministry's air defenses shot down one UAV flying to Moscow," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

According to Sobyanin, this device became the 27th in a row, destroyed on approach to the capital.

To destroy them, aircraft use high-precision bombs with UMPC modules.

Prior to that, the air defense forces shot down the 26th UAV on approach to Moscow. According to Sobyanin, emergency services are working at the crash site of the drone.
