41 new electric charging stations have appeared on the streets of Moscow. This was announced on Tuesday, June 9, by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.

According to him, five long-term government contracts were signed last year for the installation and maintenance of 70 charging stations with a capacity of 150 kW. More than 40 of them have already been put into operation. The new EHS was placed in three districts of the capital: 14 in the Southern Administrative District, 14 in the Southern Administrative District and 13 in Zelenograd, the Moscow City News agency reports.

The stations are installed near residential areas, transport hubs and public spaces, which makes charging electric vehicles more accessible and convenient for drivers.

Liksutov noted that the development of the EHS network is carried out on behalf of Sergei Sobyanin. According to him, the new stations will expand the possibilities for fast charging of electric vehicles on the streets of the city, writes "Moscow 24".
