The Russian Foreign Ministry demanded the withdrawal of US nuclear weapons from Europe

Moscow insists on the removal of all American nuclear weapons and infrastructure for their maintenance from Europe. This was stated on June 9 by the head of the Russian delegation to the Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Belousov.

"The American nuclear weapons deployed in Europe are essentially strategic. Therefore, we insist that it be withdrawn from Europe, returned to the United States, and all the infrastructure for its deployment in Europe be dismantled," the diplomat was quoted as saying by TASS.
