Applications are open for the sixth forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age"

Applications for the forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age" have been accepted since May 15. The organizers are the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation, co–organized by VEB.The Russian Federation and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Everyone can submit their projects and initiatives on the idea platform.roscongress.rf until June 15. Then the experts will select the top 100 ideas. The strongest of them will be presented at the final event on July 22-23.

"Today, the main competition in the world is not only for technology or resources, but also for time – you need to be able to quickly create and implement new solutions, attract strong ideas and unlock people's potential. Therefore, platforms where society's initiatives have the opportunity to turn into real projects are of particular value. In six years, the Forum has become just such a mechanism. The more than 120,000 ideas submitted by the participants over the entire time are a reflection of how people see the development of Russia, their cities, economy, social sphere and technology in the future," said Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the forum organizing committee.

Over the past six years, representatives of not only all regions of Russia, but also 45 countries of the world have become participants of the forum. In 2025 alone, the authors submitted more than 35,000 initiatives, which is more than twice the figure of the first forum.

"The community of the forum "Strong Ideas for a new Age" today unites almost 600 thousand people, and every year the interest in participation continues to grow. This indicates a high level of civic engagement and the demand of society for real mechanisms of participation in the development of the country. The Forum has become a space where initiatives from citizens, businesses, regional teams and the expert community have the opportunity to move from an idea to practical implementation. The best projects are supported by development institutions, regions and partners, and their authors receive new opportunities for professional and social growth," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee.

In 2026, ideas are being accepted in five areas.

The National Social Initiative includes proposals to support families, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood, health protection and a healthy lifestyle, social support for citizens, education and enlightenment, support for veterans of their military and their family members, the development of digital platforms and AI in healthcare, education and social protection, as well as improving the quality of life and the development of small towns.

The National Human Resources Initiative will focus on future skills and continuous learning, forecasting the labor market, a new career at the age of 50, platform employment, opportunities for young people, attracting talent from abroad and creating new jobs in small towns and rural areas.

The national Technology Initiative will cover projects in the field of autonomy, intelligent systems, distributed energy, architectures for collective interaction of autonomous systems, local AI and new satellite-based services.

The environmental and climate direction will combine ideas related to nature conservation, ecology, climate adaptation, territorial development and the creation of a comfortable living environment.

The National Entrepreneurship Initiative includes ideas for developing an investment climate and platform economy, infrastructure for technological entrepreneurship, creative economy, national brands, new financial instruments, opportunities for investment in cultural heritage sites, as well as micro—productions and mobile factories.

"The forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age" allows you to see what is really important for people today and what changes they want to see around them. For example, the revival of villages and villages has become one of the most popular topics. Traditionally, everyone is concerned about health, education, and a healthy lifestyle. There is also a growing interest in the agenda of the future — what cities, schools, companies should be like, and what technologies we need. For ASI, which turns 15 this year, it is especially important to see how the forum brings together initiative people, experts, businesses, regions and partners around ideas that can influence the development of our country and improve the quality of life of all Russian citizens," said ASI CEO Svetlana Chupsheva.

Today, projects that offer new solutions for the economy, the social sphere and the quality of human life are especially important. The forum "Strong Ideas for Modern Times" helps to find such initiatives at an early stage, and the task of the expert council is to select the strongest and most promising projects that can be continued and scaled up," summed up the chairman of VEB.Russian Federation, Chairman of the ASI Expert Council Igor Shuvalov.

A special feature of the 2026 forum will be the expanded use of artificial intelligence technologies. AI will help at the stage of evaluating ideas, allow for in-depth analysis of strategic trends and create thematic collections of initiatives for further work with projects.

The selection process will take place in several stages. After collecting the projects, the participants will be able to finalize them together with the experts and partners of the forum. Then the organizers will form the top 100 initiatives and partner selections of the best solutions.

The forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age" has been held since 2020 on behalf of the President of Russia. In 2025 alone, more than a thousand ideas received the support of the forum's partners, and another 231 projects became participants in acceleration programs. The event also includes the Know Our Growing Russian Brands competition, which is organized by ASI and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of VEB.RF.
