A military expert suspected the Usoltsevs of working for foreign intelligence
The Usoltsevs, who disappeared in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, could have worked for foreign intelligence and fled Russia. This was announced on June 8 by reserve Lieutenant Colonel, military expert Oleg Ivannikov.
"The Usoltsevs could have fled the country to hide from the Russian judicial and law enforcement system and confuse the investigation. All this allows us to conclude that the head of the family worked for foreign intelligence, and his wife was his assistant," he said in an interview with NEWS.ru .
According to Ivannikov, Sergey Usoltsev's son lives in the USA. The expert pointed out that, perhaps, through him, the family kept in touch with the American special services.
On June 4, the Investigative Committee began carrying out additional measures to search for the Usoltsev family. In total, about 80 people will participate in the events. The work will take place on hiking trails in the direction of Kuturchinsky Belogorye. On June 8, the Investigative Committee (IC) showed footage of the resumed searches.
The loss of the Usoltsev family in the Minsk Loop area, when they were heading to Mount Pinocchio, was reported on September 28, 2025. As a result of the search, more than 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands were explored.
