The Russian automobile brand Tenet has sold 84.8 thousand vehicles since entering the market in September last year to May this year, which allowed it to gain a foothold in the top three of the car market. This is stated in the message of the brand's press service, which was received by Izvestia on June 9.

Tenet cars are produced in full cycle at the AGR Holding plant in Kaluga. At the end of May, the 100-thousandth anniversary car was released at the production site, which became the flagship seven-seat crossover T8.

The brand's bestseller is the mid-size T7 crossover, which accounted for more than half of all sales. In the first five months of 2026, it became the most popular crossover on the Russian market. The T4 compact crossover is in second place (38.5% of the brand's sales).

In nine months, the brand's share in the crossover segment has increased fivefold compared to September 2025, reaching 14.4%. Tenet cars were most often bought in the Volga Federal District (25% of the total volume), the Moscow Region and the Central Federal District also entered the top three (16% and 15%, respectively).

Earlier that day, it was reported that information about the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max crossover, including price lists, had disappeared from the brand's official website in Russia. This may indicate the cessation of sales of the SUV in the Russian market. Now there are only three models left on the Russian Chery website.

On June 2, AGR Holding announced that the Tenet T8 crossover in a new five-seat version will be put into production at the Kaluga plant.
