The New People Party launched the All-Russian action "Heroes Week"
On the eve of Russia Day, the New People party launched the Week of Heroes campaign, in which volunteers across the country will congratulate relatives of military personnel and help with household issues.
"We come to the families of our participants in the special military operation to talk and solve some current life issues. It seems to me that it is important now that Russia Day be a holiday, and on a holiday it is necessary to solve common problems," said party leader Alexei Nechaev.
He has already visited one of the large families in Ramenskoye, the head of which is currently undergoing rehabilitation after a fall. The family received household appliances as a gift from Nechaev, and the children received a bicycle and roller skates.
On June 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin recommended that the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation organize additional support measures, including free services in the field of healthcare and tourism, as part of the support for SVO fighters and their families. The initiatives proposed by the Russian leader may also extend to sports and physical education. On May 15, he also approved the unified basic regional support measures for the participants of the SVO. Thus, the designated category of citizens is subject to benefits for visiting cultural and social facilities, and they also receive emergency sanatorium treatment and free psychological assistance.
