Lavrov expressed Moscow's concern about Rubio's statement on support for Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed concern about recent statements by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio about support for Ukraine. This became known on May 8.

"We are certainly concerned about the statements made by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who recently said at congressional hearings that the United States cannot be a mediator because it supports Ukraine," Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman.
