Sergunina announced the festival of national hospitality at VDNH

From July 2 to 5, VDNH will host the VI Festival of national Hospitality "Friendship of Peoples", dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. About 100 events have been prepared for the guests, ranging from business conferences, concerts and performances to master classes, sports competitions and fashion shows. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"The festival will bring together more than 20 venues at VDNH. Residents and guests of the capital will attend performances by bands from different regions, get acquainted with folk crafts and see traditional costumes at a street photo exhibition," Natalia Sergunina said.

The central event of the business program will be the Creative Industries Forum, which will be held from July 2-4 at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center and Building No. 457. The participants will discuss the development of domestic tourism, the cultural diversity of Russia and issues of cooperation within the CIS.

On July 4, a concert "Multifaceted Russia" will take place between Pavilion No. 1 "Tsentralny" and the Druzhba Narodov fountain. Vocal and dance groups, choirs and musical groups from different regions of the country will perform on the stage. The audience will also be presented with fragments of ballet performances performed by young artists of the Bolshoi Theater.

On the same day, the national holiday of the Udmurt Republic, Gerber, will be celebrated at VDNH. The program will include a flash mob, a fair of handicrafts, a theatrical performance and a thematic photo exhibition.

From July 3 to 5, the Strong by Unity festival will be held in Pavilion No. 68. Traditional craft workshops, sports tournaments, puppet shows and other family events are organized for visitors. In the pavilion of the Kyrgyz Republic, guests will be able to get acquainted with the national cuisine and traditional drinks.

The Friendship of Peoples Festival is held as part of the Summer in Moscow project, a key event of the season that has already become a good tradition and an integral part of the city's life.
