The stay in the Lipetsk forests will be limited from June 10

Starting from June 10, restrictions on staying in forests will be introduced in the Lipetsk region. Barriers will be closed at the entrances of vehicles to the forest belts. The measures will be in effect until June 30.

According to GOROD48, with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Forestry, the restriction is stated in the decree of the regional government dated June 4. The purpose of these measures is to prevent forest fires and ensure sanitary safety in forests.

A special fire protection regime began operating in the region on May 20.

A special regime implies a restriction of visits to forests, as well as a ban on the use of barbecues and other devices for cooking on an open fire in forests. In addition, there is a ban on burning grass and garbage, and building bonfires on the territories of gardening associations. The special fire protection regime will last until September 30. Restrictions will apply in the Dankovsky, Gryazinsky, Yeletsky, Donskoy, Dobrovolsky, Chaplyginsky, Usmansky, Terbunsky and Zadonsky forestry districts, as well as in Lipetsk.
