The Prosperous Armenia Party has requested a recount of votes in the elections

The Prosperous Armenia party of businessman Gagik Tsarukyan requested a recount of votes, as it lacked 0.004% in the elections to enter parliament. Arman Abovyan, a member of the political council of the party, told Izvestia on June 7.

"Look, four percent, they counted four percent for us at first, it was already four percent at night, we knew we had passed. In the morning it turns out that we have 3,996 thousand. Imagine the level of absurdity," he said.

In addition, the Armenia bloc of former President Robert Kocharian published a statement in which he noted that he intends to challenge the results of the parliamentary elections. They also added that the elections in Armenia were held amid widespread pressure from the authorities and arrests of the opposition.
