Alexey Shestakov, a resident of St. Petersburg, beat his friend with cans in a grocery store and received two years of probation. This was reported on June 8 in the joint press service of the city courts.

"Shestakov, being in the sales area of the store at a shelf with dairy products and using cans as a weapon, deliberately struck G. at least 19 blows to the head and face," the Telegram channel said.

It is noted that the conflict occurred on the night of February 23-24. The friends were drinking alcohol in the back room of the store after G.'s birthday. The reason for the fight was the victim's excessive interest in Shestakov's girlfriend. After Shestakov struck a lot of punches and kicks, he grabbed a tin can from the shelf and continued beating.

The victim was hospitalized. The court sentenced Shestakov to two years of probation with a two-year probation period.

On May 23, a resident of Balashikha inflicted several blows on the head of his young daughter in the elevator of an apartment building. Investigators have opened a criminal case on the torture of a minor child. According to the Investigative Committee, the torture may be systematic.
