Eurotroika has set conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine
The leaders of the Eurotroika countries — British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz — announced the conditions for achieving peace in Ukraine. The general statement was published on June 8 following a meeting with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"After the ceasefire regime comes into force, Ukraine must have reliable and legally binding security guarantees based on the commitments made in Berlin in December 2025 and in Paris in January 2026. Europe may deploy a foreign contingent in Ukraine," the British government said in a statement on its website.
