The Russian sedan Senat 900 will receive an armored version

Armored and special versions will be provided for the Senat 900 executive sedan, which began production at the plant in St. Petersburg. This follows from the presentation on the brand's official website.

Details about the specification of the Senat 900 armored modification are not specified, however, representatives of the brand shared various information about the equipment of the novelty. The presentation of the basic model took place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), it is based on the model of the Chinese brand Hongqi and features a redesigned front end.

The length of the Senat 900 is 5144 mm, the wheelbase is 3060 mm. The engine is a three—liter V6 with a capacity of 326 hp (450 Nm), which allows you to accelerate from a standstill to a hundred in 6.5 seconds. The transmission is an eight—speed automatic transmission with a torque converter. Traction is transmitted to both axles via an intelligent all-wheel drive system.

The maximum speed is 245 km/h. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 7.4 liters per 100 km. An electronically controlled air suspension is provided, and the ride is smoother. In sport mode, the ground clearance is 125 mm, it can be increased to 150 mm in comfort mode and up to a maximum of 210 mm.

The body structure is made of 68% high-strength and ultra-high-strength steels. The torsional rigidity of the body exceeds 23 thousand tons. Nm/deg. Eight airbags are installed. The driver assistance system includes three radars and a smart object recognition camera, 12 ultrasonic sensors and four all-round cameras.

The sedan has a nappa leather interior trim, an audio system with 14 speakers and a subwoofer, door closers, four-zone climate control, an all-round camera system and many other options. In the five—seat version, the model costs 12 million rubles, and in the four-seat version - 12.5 million rubles (it is complemented by wooden decor in the cabin and an airplane-type table along with a smartphone charger in the second row).

Representatives of the Senat brand also confirmed on their website that a large crossover will become a promising model of the Russian brand.

The production of cars of the new Russian brand Senat will amount to several thousand units in 2026, and from 2027 it is planned to produce tens of thousands of cars. This was announced on June 5 by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.
