Traffic through the Dzhankoy checkpoint was restored for passenger cars
Traffic through the Dzhankoy checkpoint on the border of Crimea and the Kherson region has resumed for passenger cars. This was announced on June 8 by the Governor of the Zaporizhia region Evgeny Balitsky.
"Traffic through the Dzhankoy checkpoint on the border with Crimea has resumed in reverse mode for passenger cars weighing up to 3.5 tons," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Balitsky, the Armyansk checkpoint operates without restrictions. He also urged to observe the speed limit, follow the recommendations of the staff and plan the route in advance.

The governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, reported on June 7 that as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the bridge was damaged near the settlement of Chongar. Because of this, traffic through the Dzhankoy checkpoint was blocked. Baldo clarified that transportation is possible through the "Armyansk" and "Perekop" checkpoints.
