The Russian car brand Esteo has revealed the specifications of the new crossover MX

In June, pre-orders for the new Esteo MX crossover, which is based on the Exeed model and is already being produced at the AGR Holding plant in St. Petersburg, will begin. The car will be offered in two trim levels — Premium and Flagship, the company's press service said in a statement received by Izvestia on June 8. The differences will affect the configuration of the audio system, a set of additional comfort functions in the cabin, as well as the size of the rims.

The Esteo MX is equipped with a two-liter turbocharged 2.0 engine with a capacity of 197 hp, which accelerates up to 210 km/h and works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. Fuel consumption is 9.2 liters per 100 km in a combined cycle. There are seven modes of operation of the driving electronics. Lightweight aluminum levers and hydraulic-filled silent blocks are used in the undercarriage design. The body has received full galvanizing of all exterior body panels, the windshield washer tank has been increased to 7 liters, and an automatic rear-view camera washer is provided.

The front seats of the Esteo MX are equipped with electric controls and multi-zone massage, there is a Boya Melody audio system with a subwoofer and 14 or 21 speakers, as well as a multimedia display for the passenger with an independent Bluetooth channel. Physical climate control buttons are provided. To improve the sound insulation, the front double side windows are installed.

The body color palette will include three shades — white "Astrum", black "Sagittarius" and gray "Phantom". The interior can be decorated in brown or black. The rims are 19 or 20 inches, depending on the configuration. The optics consists of 472 independent LED elements with a total line length of 3.5 m.

The body is made using high-strength steel, the proportion of which in the structure reaches 85%. The complex of assistance systems includes adaptive cruise control with the function of keeping the car in the selected lane, an automatic emergency braking system, a lane-changing assistance system, and other assistants based on sonars, radars, and cameras. There is a standard telematics system.

Esteo is the fourth joint project of the Russian holding AGR and the Chinese company Defetoo after Tenet, Jeland and Tenet Plus. As reported on June 2, the Tenet T8 crossover in a new five-seat version will enter production at the AGR holding plant in Kaluga.
