The preparation of the election commissions for the parliamentary elections in Armenia was insufficient, which delayed the voting process. This was announced on June 8 by Lyudmila Markina, a representative of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.

"Despite the fact that a lot of preparatory work has been done, we still saw insufficient training for members of election commissions, which delayed the voting process, based on the fact that voters were given a fairly large number of ballots according to the number of parties participating in the elections," she said.
