One of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fell on the roof of a residential apartment building in Belgorod. This was announced on June 8 by the mayor of the city, Valentin Demidov.

"One of the unmanned aerial vehicles fell on the roof of an apartment building. The warhead did not detonate," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of Belgorod added that operational services arrived at the scene of the incident, whose employees examined the territory and removed the device itself from there.

Demidov added that Belgorod had been under attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the morning, but stressed that as a result of what was happening there, no one was injured and nothing was destroyed. Against this background, he urged residents of the city to be vigilant, not to ignore danger signals and, in case of an emergency, call 112.

On the same day, employees of the operational headquarters for the Krasnodar Territory reported a fire on the territory of a transshipment complex in Novorossiysk after a drone attack. It was clarified that no one was injured in the incident, and 130 specialists and 39 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of its consequences.
