Commuter train traffic on a number of sites in Crimea has been suspended
Commuter trains running in the Republic of Crimea on the Simferopol — Dzhankoy and Armyansk — Dzhankoy routes were temporarily suspended for technical reasons. This was announced on June 8 on the website of the carrier of the Southern Suburban Passenger Company.
"Dear passengers! For technical reasons, commuter train traffic has been temporarily suspended on the Simferopol — Dzhankoy and Armyansk — Dzhankoy sections," the text says.
It is noted that passengers will be additionally informed about the resumption of traffic.
The company urged customers to keep track of the latest news and, if they have any questions, contact the representatives of the UPC via the hotline.
On the same day, the head of Novorossiysk, Andrei Kravchenko, announced the closure of traffic from the city towards Gelendzhik and from Kabardinka in the direction of Novorossiysk. The reasons for which the appropriate measures were taken were not specified.
