In the Volgograd region, a fire broke out on the territory of a linear production and dispatch service as a result of falling debris from a Ukrainian drone. This was announced on June 8 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.

"As a result of falling debris, a fire broke out on the territory of the linear production and dispatch service in the Zhirnovsky district," Bocharov is quoted as saying in the Telegram channel of the regional administration.

According to him, the fire caused by falling debris on the object was promptly eliminated. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

Earlier in the day, two people were injured as a result of strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Belgorod region. It was noted that in the village of Dunayka, an FPV drone attacked a private house, as a result of which a 14-year-old teenager received blind shrapnel wounds in the temple and thigh area. In addition, in the village of Yasnye Zori, a drone detonated on the territory of the enterprise. Later, the man himself went to the city hospital.
