A man who went out into the waters of the Tatar Strait on a rubber boat has gone missing. This was reported on June 8 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Sakhalin region.
"The man, being in the area of Cape Kuznetsov, located in the Nevelsky district, went out on a rubber boat into the waters of the Tatar Strait. At the moment, his whereabouts remain unknown," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that all necessary forces and means are involved in search and rescue operations. A check has been organized on this incident.
Vasily Gudkov, Deputy Head of the Central Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the region, said that an Mi-8 helicopter, as well as employees of the Nevelsky inspection section of the GIMS on a small vessel, were involved in the search for the missing man.
"The search for the fisherman continues," the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations quoted him as saying in the Maks messenger.
On May 21, the Investigative Committee of the Tula region announced the initiation of a criminal case after the disappearance of a three-year-old girl. It was clarified that the investigation is under the personal control of the head of the investigative department for the Tula region, Vladimir Usov.
