One person was killed and four injured in an accident in the Novosibirsk region.
In the Novosibirsk region, as a result of a traffic accident involving three vehicles, one person was killed and four others were injured. This was announced on June 8 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
"As a result of the car accident, the driver of the VAZ was urgently hospitalized, where he died. Two of his passengers, as well as the driver and passenger of the Volkswagen, were taken to a medical facility," the publication says in the Maks messenger.
It is noted that the incident occurred on the territory of the Chulymsky district on the 1150th km of the R-254 Irtysh highway. The driver of a Volkswagen Jetta, overtaking, drove into the oncoming lane. As a result, there was a collision with an oncoming VAZ-2114 car, the driver of which had no right to drive a vehicle. After that, Volkswagen collided with a passing MAN truck.
It is specified that the staff of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the investigative team are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
On June 5, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informed Izvestia that 312 road accidents had been recorded on Russian roads over the past day, in which 29 people were killed and 367 injured. 25 of the dead were drivers and passengers. It was noted that as a result of 74 accidents involving pedestrians, four people were killed, and 74 more were injured in various degrees of severity.
