The opposition in Armenia accused Pashinyan of trying to put pressure on the Central Election Commission

Statements by the current Armenian authorities, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, about the victory of the Civil Contract party before the official announcement of the results of the parliamentary elections put pressure on the Central Election Commission (CEC). This was announced on Monday, June 8, by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, head of the Armenia electoral bloc of former President Robert Kocharyan.

"Statements before the announcement of the election results are just attempts to put pressure on the CEC and usurp power. Before giving instructions to the judiciary, without being elected, you still have to answer for all violations of the electoral law registered today," he wrote on Facebook (the owner of Meta is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).
