The leaders of the Eurotroika countries — Great Britain, France and Germany — called for the active participation of European states and the United States in negotiations with Russia on ending the conflict in Ukraine. This is stated in a joint statement by the leaders of the Eurotroika following the talks in London, which was published on the website of the British government on June 7.

"They supported the proposal for a direct dialogue between Ukraine and Russia, with the active participation of the United States and Europe, to achieve a ceasefire and support further negotiations," the statement said.

The meeting participants stressed that Europe must play an important role in any settlement process. In their opinion, further measures should be taken in close cooperation with Kiev, international partners and Washington.

The document lists the conditions for achieving long-term peace. The leaders of the three countries call for an immediate ceasefire and the start of negotiations based on the established line of contact. At the same time, politicians oppose the forceful change of Ukraine's state borders.

The parties insist on creating "legally binding guarantees" for Kiev. It is proposed to include the deployment of a foreign military contingent.
