Israel denied the closure of airspace after the Iranian strikes
Israeli airspace remains open, and flights will continue as normal, despite the shelling from Iran. This was announced on June 7 by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the country.
"The assessment of the situation conducted by the Minister of Transport Miri Regev with the participation of the Director General of the Ministry of Transport Moshe Ben-Zaken and aviation industry experts has been completed, and based on its results, it was decided that the airspace will remain open and flights will be carried out as usual," the Telegram channel says.
It is noted that as the shooting spreads, an appropriate decision will be made.
The Ynet portal reported on the same day that Iran had launched missiles towards Israel. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), about four launches were recorded. As noted by the Tasnim news agency, the Iranian military attacked the Israeli Ramat David airbase.
Prior to that, it was also reported about the closure of the airspace of Iraq and western Iran.
