On June 7, US President Donald Trump had an argument with NBC host Kristen Welker during an interview and ended the conversation ahead of schedule.

After the issue of election fraud in the United States, Trump accused the media of bias and dishonesty. According to him, many American publications and TV channels cover such important events for the country only from the wrong side.

"Your elections in this country <...> we are like a third world country. Your election is dishonest, and you're dishonest, and Meet the Press is dishonest, and ABC, and CBS, and CNN are too. You are a one—sided dishonest media," Trump said.

The American leader added that the country can never be great with false media. After that, the president got up and left the studio, despite the attempts of the presenter to continue the interview.

Trump, while talking to the press in Palm Beach on November 16 last year, sharply responded to a journalist after she received a question about a possible attempt by the White House to conceal information about the American leader's ties with Epstein. He told her that she shouldn't spread lies and that she was a "disgusting reporter." White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt later said that Trump decided to call one of the journalists a "piggy" because he was upset about the false claims spread in the media.
