In the village of Veretievo near Moscow, a deer attacked a 10-year-old child in a petting zoo. This was announced on June 7 by a source of Izvestia.

The incident occurred on June 6. The boy wanted to feed the deer and approached the animals. Suddenly, one of them became aggressive and attacked the child, knocking him to the ground.

"The boy was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, a concussion, a bruised head wound and a chest contusion," the source said.

Kirill, the child's father, told Izvestia that his son was discharged on the same day.

"There probably wasn't a concussion, otherwise they wouldn't have let me go. There were injuries, his wounds were stitched up," he said.

The zoo director told Izvestia that he did not know the details of the situation, but, in his opinion, "nothing terrible happened." He also explained that he was currently in another country and promised to "sort it out" upon arrival.

In Vladimir, on May 15, a hereditary circus trainer was attacked by lions, the man was rescued by other employees who first heard the roar of animals, and then screams. The victim was badly scratched, he was hospitalized in serious condition.
