Congressman Fallon announced the imminent resumption of US strikes on Iran
The United States of America will resume strikes on Iranian territory. This was announced on June 6 by Pat Fallon, a member of the US House of Representatives Committees on Armed Forces and Intelligence.
"Unfortunately, this [the US war with Iran] has to end either the easy way or the hard way, and I think there will be a hard way," he said in an interview with Fox News.
Fallon, responding to a question about a possible strike, said that this is exactly what will happen in the end, since the United States is negotiating "not with someone who is at least pragmatic." In his opinion, Iran "has never negotiated in good faith."
"I think that's exactly what (the US strike on Iran. — Ed.) and eventually it will happen," Fallon says.
In addition, the politician pointed out that now the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is making decisions in the Islamic Republic, and it is not going to open the Strait of Hormuz and give away enriched uranium. Therefore, according to Fallon, the United States has no choice but to use force.
On June 4, US President Donald Trump, during a conversation with reporters at the White House, said that the death of American servicemen in the event of an attack by the Iranian side would be a sufficient reason for a rapid resumption of hostilities. Prior to this, the US president said that there was no need for a ground operation by American troops against Iran. On June 5, he announced that the US military operation in Iran would be completed either by signing an agreement or in a "more difficult way."
