Russian clubs will not be able to participate in the European Cup tournaments of the 2026/27 season, organized under the auspices of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). This was announced on June 6 by the press service of the organization.

"The Executive Committee of the Union of European Football Associations has made changes to the list of European Cup participants for the 2026/27 season due to the ongoing suspension of the participation of Russian national teams and Russian clubs in competitions under the auspices of UEFA," TASS quoted the document as saying.
