Kobyakov announced the desire of the United States to withdraw from the negotiation process on Ukraine

The United States is attempting to withdraw from the negotiation process on Ukraine amid awareness of the inevitable outcome of a special military operation in favor of Russia. This was announced on June 6 by Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026).

"Pay attention to how the United States is trying to get out of the negotiations. [US] Secretary of State Marco Rubio openly says that we don't see the point. It's understandable: The United States ignited the conflict, dragged everyone into it, and now they pretend that they can become mediators," he said.

According to Kobyakov, the initiatives of the United States Congress to tighten sanctions pressure are also due to the fact that Washington has become aware of the outcome of the special operation in favor of Moscow.
