An internationally wanted Russian citizen was detained in Georgia.

At the Tbilisi airport, at the request of the United States, a Russian woman was detained, who was on the international wanted list through Interpol. This was announced on June 5 by the lawyer of the Russian woman, Beka Nemsitsveridze.

"One woman who was wanted by Interpol has been detained. She is a Russian citizen. The American side has questions in connection with the import and export of sanctioned products, and an investigation has been launched against it," he said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
