In China, Zelensky was warned about the loss of the window of opportunity

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has missed a whole window of opportunity for resolving the conflict in Ukraine over the past year. This was announced on June 5 by the Chinese portal Sohu.

"From a strategic point of view, Zelensky has missed not one or two opportunities for peace over the past year, but a whole window of not—so-bad opportunities," the publication says.

As the portal noted, the Kiev authorities should recognize that every refusal is expensive for Ukraine and the price continues to rise.

On May 20, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called Zelensky the main obstacle to a peaceful solution and recalled that Moscow remains open to dialogue. He added that the conflict in Ukraine can be completed in a day if the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) withdraw from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 4 that the conflict in Ukraine would quickly come to a natural resolution if Kiev agreed to the compromises discussed in Anchorage. According to him, the Russian Federation is ready and wants to resolve the situation by peaceful means, based on the agreements.
