Murashko announced the partnership of the Russian Federation with international SPIEF participants in healthcare

Russia cooperates with all international participants of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026) in the field of healthcare. This was announced on June 5 by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

When asked which countries can be identified as potential partners of Russia, he noted that cooperation is already underway with the forum participants to one degree or another.

"Especially [there is cooperation] in the educational field and in the provision of high—tech medical care," he told Izvestia correspondent Alexandra Chigrinskaya.

Priority areas of innovation for human health" on June 3 reported that one of the key strategies for the development of medicine in Russia is the creation of domestic medicines and the introduction of new treatment approaches. The Minister pointed out the importance of national security in the production of medicines. According to him, it is necessary to control the supply of critical ingredients and consumables.
