The weather forecaster spoke about the weather in Moscow at the beginning of next week

Short-term rains are expected in Moscow next week. Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, announced this on Friday, June 5.

"Short–term rains may start on Tuesday, in the afternoon, and then continue until June 10," the forecaster told the Moscow City News agency.

He admitted that precipitation could cause a slight and short-term decrease in temperature in the capital.

"It could be an episode, a brief episode with light rains and a drop in temperature for one day, and then more or less warm weather will return," the forecaster concluded.

On the same day, Shuvalov said that hot weather will set in the city over the coming weekend — about +25 degrees, and on Monday the temperature will rise to +26 ...+28 degrees, RT reports.

At the same time, he added that on Tuesday, June 9, a cold front with rains will cover the Moscow region, writes Moscow 24. The temperature will drop slightly to +22...+24 degrees.

On June 1, Shuvalov told what kind of weather is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region in the near future. The specialist noted that abnormal heat is not expected in the near future, but the temperature will stabilize at a comfortable level — about +21 ... +23 degrees during the week.
