Rosneft and Rosatom plan to strengthen cooperation

Rosneft and Rosatom have identified priority areas of cooperation in the implementation of projects aimed at ensuring technological sovereignty. The parties discussed these issues at the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

In particular, it provides for the creation of qualitatively new technological developments in the field of production and processing of hydrocarbons, as well as the use of new energy sources. The cooperation will make it possible to realize the significant scientific, technical and production potential of the companies to ensure the technological sovereignty of the country in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, Rosneft noted.

Earlier, Rosneft announced the conclusion of a strategic cooperation agreement with UTair. The agreements reached involve the provision of aviation support services for Rosneft's existing and prospective oil and gas projects for the period up to 2031.
