The whole of Russia looks at the military, hopes for them and is proud of them. This was announced on June 5 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026).

"Comrades soldiers and sailors, comrades petty officers and midshipmen, comrade officers, admirals and generals, the whole country is watching you. The whole country is proud of you and hopes for you. Work, brothers!" the head of state addressed the military.
