On June 5, the Russian Ministry of Justice expanded the list of persons recognized as foreign agents in Russia. The updated list was published on the agency's website.

In particular, the co-chairman of the Golos movement for the protection of voters' rights (included in the register of foreign agents by the Russian Ministry of Justice) was recognized as a foreign agent Stanislav Andreychuk. According to the Ministry of Justice, he disseminated false information about the decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, as well as about the electoral system of the Russian Federation.

The journalists Mikhail Maglov and Vitaly Soldatskikh were also recognized as foreign agents. They spread false information about the authorities and opposed a special military operation.

Activist Tatiana Frolova participated in the creation and distribution of messages and materials from other foreign agents to an unlimited number of people and collected funds to support Ukraine.

On May 8, the Russian Ministry of Justice added the philosopher Mikhail Epstein to the register of foreign agents. In addition, the list includes politician Anton Mikhalchuk, biologist Igor Yefimov, the Cyprus Daily News website, and blogger Andrei Agapov and activist Yevgeny Malyugin.
