The launch of the Russian regional IL–114 aircraft is a real feat of the labor collectives. This was announced on June 5 by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Nikitin to Izvestia on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026).
"This is a good, modern, cost—effective, world-class aircraft, which is made entirely by Russian scientists, Russian engineers, and Russian enterprises," he replied to a question from correspondent Alexandra Chigrinskaya.
