Anti-swearing program to be launched in Yekaterinburg schools
An experimental anti-swearing program will be launched in schools of the Academic district of Yekaterinburg. The socio-pedagogical project is called "The Pure Word is the basis of legal awareness."
According to the <url> news agency, with reference to the Deputy Minister of Education of the Sverdlovsk region, Zhanna Fritsko, work is underway to ensure that all approaches and activities of the project can be applied in any organization. The administration of the Academic District proposed to make it a pilot territory in order to test the program and then scale it up.
The authorities expect that by the fall they will be able to formalize the project in a regulatory manner, to choose a methodology to distribute to a wider audience. The authors of the program need to show its capabilities at different levels of education: in primary, primary and secondary schools, as different ages need their own approach.
Then, specialists from the city Department of Education, the district Department of Education, parents and supervisors of educational organizations will determine which schools will be included in the project.
Earlier, Sofya Lukinova, head of the legal department of VMT Consult, said that the use of profanity on the Internet may entail administrative liability under the same rules as in the offline space. According to her, such actions qualify as minor hooliganism under Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The fine can range from 30,000 to 100,000 rubles, and in case of repeated violations, it can increase to 200-300 thousand rubles.
