The results of the National Rating of the Investment Climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were presented at SPIEF 2026. Moscow has retained the first place, which the capital has occupied since 2019, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his channel in Maks.

"A favorable investment climate is a continuous process of improvement, including optimization of administrative procedures, creation of new digital services, and improvement of support measures," Sobyanin stressed.

He recalled that last year the volume of investments in the capital's economy increased by 2.7% in comparable prices and for the first time exceeded 9 trillion rubles. By 2030, half of everything the city produces will be directly related to innovation and advanced technologies, the mayor assured.

Currently, according to Sobyanin, about 70% of investments are directed to new technologies, industry, infrastructure, software, creation of modern production facilities and jobs. High-tech industries such as pharmaceuticals, microelectronics, aerospace, radio electronics, electric vehicles, and the medical industry play an important role in the city's industry, the mayor added.

The head of the capital noted that Moscow is also successfully implementing a public-private partnership mechanism. With its help, more than 750 projects are being implemented in the city.
