- Roscosmos and Galaktika Corporation expand strategic partnership at SPIEF
Roscosmos and Galaktika Corporation are expanding their strategic partnership, and the replication of solutions tested at Energomash is reaching the industry level. The state corporations signed the memorandum on June 5 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"For Galaktika, this is a strategic step that brings the accumulated expertise to the industry level. The solutions perfected in the workshops of Energomash will become the basis for the formation of a unified digital space in the rocket and space industry. Replication of proven practices, together with the development of artificial intelligence tools, will make it possible to close the management loop from procurement to the production of finished products throughout the State Corporation, increasing the level of transparency, speed of decision—making and technological independence of Roscosmos," said Alexey Telkov, CEO of Galaktika Corporation.
The main purpose of the agreement is the transition of Roscosmos from point—to-point import substitution to the construction of a unified industrial production management system and inter-factory cooperation. It will ensure the full technological independence of the rocket and space complex.
The subject of the joint work will be the creation of the software "Industrial production management system and inter-factory cooperation". The solution will connect the end-to-end processes of procurement, sales, warehousing and inventory management across the entire cooperation into a single digital circuit. In addition, the parties will work together on approaches to import substitution of ERP systems using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Galaktika's software products became the basis for scaling. Their effectiveness has already been confirmed at the head engine-building enterprise NPO Energomash named after V.P. Glushko (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation). As a result, financial and economic activities were fully automated at all levels: from the enterprise as a whole to the workshop and individual workplace.
The memorandum is designed until the end of 2030. It reinforces the signatories' intentions to develop products together, share experiences and comply with the strictest standards in the field of information security.
On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 4, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, said that the state corporation considers domestic private companies as partners. He noted that private business has already accumulated unique competencies and is ahead of state-owned enterprises in a number of areas, citing Bureau 1440 and Geoscan as an example.
