Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about an open letter from Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky addressed to him and about the reactions of world leaders to the message. The contents of Zelensky's letter

In his address, Zelensky proposed holding a personal meeting with Putin on neutral territory. He named Switzerland, Turkey and the Arab world as possible sites, excluding Moscow and Kiev. Zelensky said he was not ready to go to Russia for talks.

The Ukrainian leader proposed a complete cease-fire during the negotiations, an exchange of prisoners of war according to the "all for all" formula, and also to discuss the return of displaced civilians and children. The letter also contained harsh criticism of the head of the Russian Federation.

On June 5, Peskov announced in the Izvestia studio at the SPIEF that the Kremlin had received Zelensky's letter.

Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou reported that the letter from the President of Ukraine addressed to the President of Russia could complicate Kiev's relations with the head of diplomacy of the European Union (EU), Kaya Kallas.

Hristoforou noted that the EU is now looking for intermediaries to organize possible negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict that would satisfy both Moscow and Brussels.
