Ideas on the development of a Youth electoral club will be gathered in Moscow
Residents of the capital will be able to share initiatives for the development of the Youth Electoral Club of Moscow (MICM) and the popularization of its programs among the citizens. Ideas are accepted from 5 to 18 June on the "City of Ideas" platform.
"The Moscow Youth Electoral Club is a navigator for schoolchildren and students on the Russian electoral system. Lectures, business games, forums, workshops and meetings with experts are held for participants. Over the entire time, the events have brought together more than ten thousand people, over a thousand of them have become election observers at various levels," said Marina Prozorova, Deputy head of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive Authorities.
Proposals in three areas are accepted up to and including June 10. Participants will be able to come up with event formats, tell us what the club's annual forum should be like and what formats of publications on social networks would be interesting to a wide audience.
A team of experts will select ideas for voting, which will be held on the platform on June 17-18. The most interesting initiatives are being implemented with the support of the Metropolitan Department of Territorial Executive Authorities.
Thematic discussions will be available on the platform as part of the project until June 18 inclusive. Users will be able to express their opinions on whether the community needs a mascot and what it should be, which aspects of the electoral sphere should be covered more often, which election topics are of the greatest interest and what would motivate the guys to join such a club. In addition, residents are expected to propose new nominations for the youth suffrage competition.
The City of Ideas platform has been operating since 2014. More than 677 thousand users joined it. During this time, over 9.9 thousand offers have been implemented.
