In Kiev, one person died due to the explosion of a parcel in a post office.

An explosion occurred on the territory of the postal operator's sorting center in the Obolonsky district of Kiev, killing one person and injuring two others. This was announced on June 5 by the main directorate of the national police of Kiev.

"According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred during the inspection of one of the parcels. As a result of the incident, a 59-year—old man was killed, two more, aged 37 and 41, were injured," the department said.

Medics and emergency services are currently working at the site of the explosion.

On May 15, the National Police of Ukraine released footage of shooting at police officers during a document check in the Khmelnytskyi region. The Ukrainian police officers were going to check the documents, but the citizen opened fire on them. As a result of the shootout, one of the policemen died and the other was injured.
