The Air defense forces eliminated 123 Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of Russia overnight

The Air Defense Forces shot down 123 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Russia. This was announced on June 5 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"From 20:00 on June 4 to 07:00 on June 5, 123 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the Maks messenger says.

It is specified that the drones were eliminated over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga and Kursk regions. Drones were also shot down over the Nizhny Novgorod, Orel, Tula regions, the Moscow region, the Crimea and over the Azov and Black Seas.

The new drones will help the units to defeat unmanned boats, sabotage groups and other threats on the approaches to the bases.

On June 4, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces shot down 19 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia from 08:00 to 20:00 hours. It was clarified that the drones were eliminated over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk regions, as well as over the Republic of Crimea and the Black Sea.
