Carolina beat Vegas in the Stanley Cup Finals
The Carolina Hurricanes hockey club defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in the second match of the final playoff series of the National Hockey League (NHL). The match took place on June 4 and ended with a score of 4:3.
Logan Stankoven scored in the 51st minute, Mark Jankowski in the 53rd minute and Jordan Staal in the 56th minute. Seth Jarvis scored the winning goal in the 64th minute. Brett Howden scored a double for the visitors, hitting the goal in the 14th and 28th minutes, Mark Stone scored another goal in the 59th minute of the meeting.
Russian striker of "Carolina" Andrey Svechnikov scored an assist. His teammate, defender Alexander Nikishin, threw once at the goal and made one power play. As part of Vegas, forward Ivan Barbashev gave an assist, and striker Pavel Dorofeev scored one shot without scoring points in the match.
