Putin allowed a German journalist not to answer a provocative question
On June 4, at a meeting with the heads of international news agencies at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed a German journalist to refrain from answering the moderator's provocative question about Germany's possible preparations for war.
"I protest, you don't have to answer. You're not here for questioning. You're here as an investigator. Interrogate me," he told the representative of the DPA agency.
