Gazprom has never refused and is ready to supply gas to Germany tomorrow. This was announced on June 4 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the heads of international news agencies.

"You can start gas on the surviving Nord Stream pipeline tomorrow, just press the button," the Russian leader said.

According to him, the undermining of the Nord Stream gas pipelines is regarded as an act of state terrorism. He noted that the last line of the gas pipeline is under American sanctions, so the decision to launch supplies is a matter of German sovereignty.

The Russian leader also added that the Russian side can supply up to 25-28 billion cubic meters of gas per year via the remaining pipeline.
