Putin thanked Tajikistan for the snow leopards presented to the Russian Federation
Russia is grateful to Tajikistan for the snow leopards given to it, as the country is doing a lot to restore the population of such and other felines. This was announced on June 4 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the heads of international news agencies.
"Snow leopards were given to us from Tajikistan, for which we are very grateful to our friends," he said.
Accordingly, the Russian leader commented on his gift to Kazakhstan in the form of Far Eastern tigers. This gesture from Moscow, as he explained, was an aid to Astana in restoring the fauna.
